1) About Syllab
Hello, my name is Sylvain Labattu and this is the website where I attempt to get people drawn to the idea of better understanding the world around them, challenging preconceived and erroneous ideas in the process.
My personal interests lie in all things scientific, sports, literature and off-the-beaten-path travel.
2) Zero Shot
Project Zero Shot reflects my desire to develop a non-conscious AI system that addresses the key flaws of the existing LLM-based AI developments:
- Lack of alignment
- factual errors
- short memory
- shallow understanding
- difficult for designers and users in interpreting reasoning and internal representations of the system
- Poor generalization capabilities.
The high-level architecture would involve a different take on concepts representation (not Word2Vec), a vetted knowledge database, multi-modal perception involving matching to concepts, and a multi-step manipulation of concepts to create effective reasoning skills.
If you have read the book Higher Orders you will know of my interest in doing AGI the right way so it can reason, store validated facts, create new knowledge, and remain aligned to the right moral values. I am looking for technical co-founders (ML, NLP, perception & computer vision) and financial backers to make this a reality.
